0.2% of all election-based tweets are dubious

We’re all tired of the debilitating rhetoric of D. Trump, which has lost elections-2020. And we’ve sadly got used to the fact that everything he writes and most of what he speaks with a mouth is complete nonsense and lies. Why the yet-acting-president acts like that in a civilized country is another question but that question made engineers working on Twitter and Facebook closely monitor not only his but also all posts made on those social networks. As Twitter recently reports, 0.2% of all election-based tweets were marked as dubious and/or deleted from sight. Those included at least 20 tweets from Donald Trump (and more to come, obviously).

Facebook, in its turn, following the success of banning political advertising in its own network, throws plans to continue the ban for another month after the current ban ends. This will calm down republicans, democrats, and those of their supporters, who keep vying and exchanging accusations. This would also stop the spread of untruthful information about US elections (including banning potential Russian attacks on democracy through ads).
