Crispr starts a new world for humans

Crispr is a scientific method that just recently allowed two female scientists to win a Nobel Prize-2020 in Chemistry. They have become the 4th and 5th women in history to win it (Marie Curie was the 1st).

The invention of using the Crispr method allows scientists and doctors to edit the DNA code of humans, thus, making them resistant to deadly viruses, as now our cells would simply ignore viruses attacking our bodies. Now it has become possible to cut DNA and glue into it pieces of sequences that bacteria have that protect them from viral attacks. Some bacteria are virus-resistant thanks to billions of years of evolutionary fight against viruses and this feature they have naturally developed. But humanity can’t wait that long to become insusceptible to Coronavirus, HIV, and all similar. And here is where Crispr helps us all build a new race of improved humans. Now we can edit the genome code of babies so they are born resistant to all viruses (also, in the future, to bacteria, fungi, molds, etc.).

False morality aside – we all want to be super humans and to avoid illnesses. And that tool was already used to make babies HIV-resistant. That is a true evolutionary blast for our race. And one more step to eventual immortality, as we now are responsible for our own DNA.
